After 15+ years in Traditional Media, Joey traded in the microphone for the diaper bag.
Her son Boston, born in 2008, not only changed her life...but changed the way she looked at media.
In order to document his life for friends and family in the midwest, Joey started Real Mom Media.
In the beginning it was just a spec of dust on the corner of your computer screen but over the years, Joey has turned it into a way of life.
And even a way to pay for her sons college education!
Joey hosted radio shows in major markets across the country, including mornings in Chicago at 9FM and also on the legendary WTMX, Chicago.
After moving to Philadephia, Joey could be heard on WBEN and later WNUW. She is now host of Real Mom Radio on Ben FM highlighting moms in and around Philadelphia.
Joey currently hosts Better Philly on WPHL-17 & she's also a contributing parenting expert on Fox 29-Philly.
Joey has been featured nationally on Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz, Anderson Cooper, MomsTown, Redbook & The Newlywed Game.
Yes. That's not a lie. The Newlywed Game. *Please refrain from snickering.
After all of that....she still has time to drag around that diaper bag.
