OperationSkinnyButt - Returns

Ok, so I haven't posted in here in oh..a LONG time.  Let's see.  February was the last post?  

I know.  And yes.  

You're totally correct. 

I've been slacking.

Badly.

But I've also been working very hard on my 'inside'.  And now I'm starting to transfer my focus from the inside to the outside.  

Yes.  I know.  I have to juggle both of them.  But ya know what?  I needed a break.

And obviously-with an additional 30 pounds in the past year.  The BREAK is OVER.  

So here I am.  Back again. 

This time around, I have a work out partner.  

She's not a blogger.  And she's pretty private.  So I've asked her to blog about her experience with getting healthy 'ANONYMOUSLY'. 

She's an amazing person on the inside and out. 

But not everyone in the world is as open as I am! hahaha. (TRUE THAT.)

So, without further ado..please meet my friend.

Anumed Review HCG - Meet CB

Hi I'm CB.  I am a 29 year old, going on 22 lol!  I have always been such a motivated and driven person that will get whatever I want in life... Except with my weight.  Internally I am a sassy, gorgeous, influential, women who is a completive athlete and powerful professional.  Externally... I weigh as much as two 17 year old athletes.   I have decided this year... I'm getting my body back!  

I decided to try HCG diet because I have several friends who have seen great success on it!  I have  tried several different versions of the HCG diet and I have found that Anumed is the best version so far!  I am on day 7 and lost 6.5lbs and 7 total inches.  I still have a very long way to go but I am making a dent!

Each day I am going to share my journeys past and present.  I have lived and carried a lot of life for the last 29 years...  Let the stories and tears begin, while I shed the pounds and inches...

Day 10.

 I'm down 8.5lbs and should be jumping for joy but instead I'm mad at myself.  You see, I fell into a trigger today and completely cheated tonight.  Not because I was hungry or couldn't control my cravings...  Because I like to self sabotage myself when I'm doing well or on track to my goals.

We forget to talk about at times how much of a mental game it is when we are on the weight loss journey.  We gain weight not because we are hungry, or in need of food.  We gain weight and get to this road because of some self destructive mental block or self-defeating thought.  For me, it was that I didn't deserve happiness and love so I use my weight to hide from the things I want most in life.  It's sad to think that the things keeping me from my goals are myself.  Today was another valuable learning day through my journey.  I push myself soo hard in my professional life that I don't always have the most realistic expectations of myself.  When I fall short of those things I have zero tolerance for the lack of achieving results, when I really just need to understand that I am human.  There is no such thing as perfection and to be the best me I can be, I have to be realistic and patient.  

  So in a hate moment, I cheated and tomorrow morning I will pay the price.  In the mean time I am now aware of another trigger opportunity and know how to better overcome it next time.  

Bring on day 11!  I will prove to you how strong I really am!

Day 11.  

   The first day I am down 2 pounds in 1 day.  This is a powerful rebound for me, especially since I cheated and lost nothing yesterday.  I know how strong, powerful and influential I really am but forget.  Today I realized that not only am I down 10 pounds in 12 days but the powerful fit person I use to be, is coming back a little bit more and more every day.  Tonight I was told by one of my best guy friends, that the guy I'm in love with looks at me a B lister.  For those of you who have no idea what that is... It's the person you date to fill your time until you find your A lister... the one you take home to meet the parents.  I am looked at in his eyes as someone who is always available...  That makes me super mad... I am not, well I do not want to be a B lister... I want to be an A...   

   I haven't been in love for almost about 10 years now.  After I had my heart broken, I put up a wall so I would never feel that kind of pain again... which I why I subconsciously gained 90 pounds.  Before the weight gain... my outside was consistent to my inside.  I was very cute and I was able to get and accomplish anything I wanted and I wasn't looked at as the fat girl with a beautiful face anymore... I was an accomplished athlete who makes friends with anyone and would change the world!

  I am an extravert who keeps my personal life as an introvert would.  I do not talk about what I want, feel and want that much.  This is the year of change and selfish awareness of me.  On the outside I'm a confidant, driven, successful women and on the inside... I'm an insecure, fearful of love, sad women who feels helpless.  The one thing I have always been driven for is to have the great love relationship where you are both best friends and look at each other and know what the other is thinking with out saying or asking.  The relationship that is filled with happiness fun and life.  Is this a real expectation?  I hope so.. or else I have been chasing sheep for all my life...  

  Well, time for bed so that I conquer the world again tomorrow.  I will be there soon.

Day 17 on the program... (Actually 21 but had to take 4 days off because of a pain in the butt visitor... My aunt flow... aka my period)

    So your suppose to start the program after you finish your last period... Completely missed the memo on that one so I stopped the drops while I had my visitor... If you stay on the drops while you are on your period it can cause you to be go longer or be much heavier... Which it doubled my time with the mean aunt I do not like...  LOL   With that being said I am not where I want to be.  I am down a total of 14.5 pounds and 10 1/2 inches, which yes is a good start but not enough when you have a goal of 120lbs and 63 inches...  

  Wow... that could be the height and weight of a freshman girl... ughh.. so not cool...  Like I said there is still a lot of work to get done!!!

   I have learned so much about myself again in the 21 days... 1. that is just as easy to slip into old habits if you are not constantly thinking and being aware of what is going on...  2. This is more of a mental battle than physically.  We gain the weight mentally first, then physically and it has to come off the same way too, mentally then physically.  

   I am such an impatient  person and I have to constantly remind myself of living in the now...  I'm a dreamer and reflector but have forgotten to live my life now.  I need and want to live every second of right now, the best I ever can...  

  So right now I'm going to go do my laundry, eat lunch, have some coffee and do a kick boxing class!!!  Until next time my friends!!!

 Day 30 on my journey and day 25 on HCG phase 2.  Overall I have lost 17 pounds and 13 inches.  That's not bad in the real world but when your doing HCG you should be able to loose more.  Lets be honest.... It's the holiday and well the last week I didn't stick to it the way that I should have and the results show.  I am now starting phase 3 and I am going to do another round in 30 days.  Some advice to the wise... DON'T CHEAT when your doing HCG.. I will not have the holiday as an excuse to why I cheated the next round...  

    In all reality those are great numbers... I have to remember to celebrate the success I do have and boy have I had a lot in different ways...  I am what you call an ALL OR NOTHING personality type.  When I put my mind to something I do not stop until I get it... I've really been trying to become more balanced personally which is wayyyy harder than anyone would ever think...  I realized since I've been so focused on weight loss, I'm not pushing everyone as hard at work as I usually do.  My leadership has been a little more mediocre than the power house I usually am.  What makes someone an ALL OF NOTHING type?  I'm digging deep analyze this so I can fix it but I'm not sure.  Are we not capable of giving the brain power it takes to be successful to more than one area?   When I look at successful business people... something always gives and it's usually family... Look at great moms, business success is usually sacrificed.  Pro Athletes sacrifice friends and family for living the dream...  Is it unrealistic to be successful in more than one area and not loose anything?  What happened to Win Win areas??  Or does balance mean being mediocre in everything you do???   I hope not because I'm not ok with that at all... I'll stick to all or nothing.

Time to get my day started...  Merry Christmas.... Stay away from the cookies... So not worth it:)
